September 12th - 13th Sacred Heart School of Halifax
Here is what will be covered over 4 x 2hr sessions:
strengthening, mobility, and plyometric drills to reinforce biomechanical concepts
shifting centre of mass through linear and multi-plane movements
understanding the biomechanics of the midline
Linear force transfer, rotational force, and speed
elastic and ballistic movements
contraction and expansion in techniques and transitions
The final session would serve as a review of all the sessions and application of what we learned into group Kata practice.
I absolutely believe that training these biomechanical concepts through the drills we do in this seminar will improve our Kata and Kumite by understanding and optimizing how we use our bodies!
